Trims & back gates

The bits nobody photographs but everybody notices when they’re wrong. New skirting and architrave to go with new doors, beading and thresholds where a floor meets a doorway, and a proper timber back gate that shuts first time.

Often done alongside doors or flooring  ·  Darwen, Blackburn and the North West

What we fit

Skirting

Swapped out or fitted new, scribed to floors that are never flat and mitred properly at the corners.

Architrave

New doors on old architrave rarely looks right. Matched to the skirting so the whole doorway reads as one job.

Beading and thresholds

The strips where one floor meets another, in a finish that matches rather than the silver bar the last fitter had in the van.

Back gates

Made to the opening, on heavy-duty hinges, with a latch and a bolt that work. Treated and ready for the weather.

Most of this gets done alongside doors or flooring, which works out cheaper than having someone back for it later.

Finish the job properly

We’ll price the trims in with whatever else you’re having done. Free visit, no obligation at the end of it.
